Description
In 1997, Bill Laswell released his sixth solo album “City of Light”, recorded in Banaras, India and mixed in Greenpoint, NY. For this album, he invited John Balance and Peter Christopherson from Coil to contribute. They made an epic 13-minute composition “Kála”. Japanese ambient genius Tetsu Inoue joined in, decorating the album with his characteristic sound. Together they created an amazing conceptual record full of deep drones, tabla-rhythms and ambient collages. This edition comes to us courtesy of Russian label Infinite Fog.
